Terms & Conditions
Thank you for choosing Akito Rose Tailoring & Embellishments. We appreciate the opportunity to work on your garments and custom projects. To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, please review the following Terms & Conditions before booking services.
Estimates & Approval
A written estimate will be provided before work begins whenever possible. No work will begin until the customer has reviewed and approved the estimate.
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued. After that time, pricing may be adjusted due to changes in labor requirements, materials, or project scope.
Deposits
Projects with an estimated total of more than $100 require a 50% non-refundable deposit before work begins.
The deposit secures your place in our schedule and covers planning, labor, and materials purchased for your project. Projects totaling $100 or less are payable upon completion.
Payment
The remaining balance is due upon completion and must be paid before garments or items are released.
Failure to pay may result in delayed pickup until the balance has been paid in full.
Changes After Approval
If additional alterations, embellishments, or design changes are requested after an estimate has been approved, additional charges may apply. A revised estimate will be provided before the extra work begins.
Fittings
Customers are responsible for attending scheduled fittings when required.
If body measurements change after alterations have begun, additional alteration fees may be necessary to achieve the desired fit.
Rush Orders
Rush services are accepted based on availability and may be subject to an additional rush fee.
Wedding gowns and formalwear should be brought in as early as possible to allow adequate time for fittings and alterations. Last-minute requests may not be accepted.
Garment Condition
Customers are responsible for inspecting completed work at the time of pickup.
Once a garment or item has been accepted and removed from our possession, it is considered approved.
Customer-Supplied Garments & Materials
Every garment is handled with the utmost care.
However, Akito Rose is not responsible for damage resulting from:
-
Delicate, vintage, or weakened fabrics
-
Existing tears, stains, or previous alterations
-
Manufacturer defects
-
Hidden weaknesses that become apparent during the alteration process
While every effort is made to preserve the integrity of each garment, some fabrics and materials naturally carry a greater risk during alteration.
Custom Design & Embellishment
Custom embellishment, appliqué, beadwork, lacework, rhinestones, reconstruction, and other artistic services are handcrafted.
Slight variations in placement, materials, color, texture, or design details may occur and are considered part of the custom nature of the work.
Cancellations
If a project is canceled before work begins, any deposit already paid remains non-refundable.
Once work has begun, customers are responsible for payment for labor performed, materials purchased, and services completed up to the date of cancellation.
Unclaimed Items
Completed garments should be picked up promptly.
Items left unclaimed for more than 90 days after completion, without prior arrangements, may be donated, discarded, or otherwise disposed of. Akito Rose is not responsible for items left beyond this period.
Abandoned Projects
If a customer becomes unresponsive for more than 30 days after work has begun, the project may be considered abandoned.
Deposits remain non-refundable. Additional fees may apply if work resumes after an extended delay.
Limitation of Liability
Akito Rose's liability for any claim related to services performed shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific services provided.
Akito Rose is not responsible for normal wear and tear, damage occurring after pickup, or issues unrelated to the services performed.
Agreement
By requesting services, approving an estimate, paying a deposit, submitting payment, or booking an appointment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
